Norma Parallel

A type of double casing in which two door leaves close in one direction parallel to each other. The movement of both leaves is synchronized. In contrast to other Norma casing versions, for Parallel more space must be planned during construction preparation, so that the box is wide enough to accommodate two sliding leaves. This pocket door frame’s indisputable advantage is that, although only one pocket door frame is installed, a passage is available for the two door leaves, and at the same time a smaller construction opening is sufficient. This type of pocket door frame can also be used for an all-glass door. The Norma Parallel door frame is compatible with all door manufacturers.

The Norma Parallel casing is welded. For a masonry partition, it is necessary to equip the construction opening with a lintel — the pocket door frame cannot bear a load. A soft closing mechanism cannot be purchased for this pocket door frame. The entire pocket door frame is made of quality galvanized sheet metal.
