Katerina Kersey - interior architect

"In a 67 m² three-room apartment with a kitchen nook, the main thing we had to deal with was the space — visual extension of the narrow hallways, and more comfortable, ergonomic movement in the interior. So, everywhere we chose doors that slid into a concealed doorframe — they save space and give a very clean, minimalist impression. Then we had the doors blended into the wall — clean white enamel. We had the bathroom troweled with imitation-concrete epoxy, by which we again achieved overall blending with the space. The glass doors in the living room aren’t just a luxury design element, but also a sound barrier between the bedrooms and the main space. There was nothing to directly discourage me, but price played a certain role and also a certain reference to the production error rate — communication buzz. I got a high-quality lead to a sales representative and technician. We sat down with them personally, and thanks to their great helpfulness and fast, flawless production of the Latente doorframes for the CRIMED project we headed up, there was no doubt we would team up with them on further projects. :-) I’m completely satisfied with the results. We don’t regret the higher input costs, because this type of solution for an interior architectural project can give the space a timeless aesthetic. Even almost two years after moving in, we admire its flawlessness and functionality."
